Software QA Engineer - Greece
Position Description
You will work with our Quality Assurance team as a QA engineer. You’ll have the opportunity and capability to make decisions about important technology and product questions. You will be responsible for working with the Schoox product application teams to test new features, identify bugs, and develop automated tests. You will perform testing in close collaboration with our developers concurrent with development and in an agile manner.
Qualified candidates will have to be talented engineers, possess a deep understanding of software Quality Assurance and have a strong comfort level working within an extremely fast-paced start-up environment.
Responsibilities
- Testing Software in a SaaS application environment, including requirements review, test planning, and automating tests
- Improving existing automated tests
- Develop new test cases for features and bug reports
- Execute manual tests cases and analyse the results
- Report bugs to the development team
- Tracking down possible bugs caught by automated tests
Requirements
The ideal candidate exhibits the following qualities:
- Strong knowledge of Application functional, integration and system testing
- Attention to details
- Communicating skills
- Writing automated tests with Python. We use Selenium WebDriver, but similar experience plus willingness to learn is fine
- You are familiar with test management tool TestRail.
- You should be good in English. A CPE certificate will be appreciated.
- Flexible, self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast paced environment.
- Academic Qualifications - You have a University degree.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification will be appreciated.
