Micrel Medical Devices SA is an innovative medical technology company that designs, manufactures, and markets smart drug delivery systems. The company provides a complete range of ambulatory infusion pumps and related disposables for a wide variety of hospital and home-based patient treatments, serving customers globally.

As an Information Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, while maintaining security standards which align with our business needs. You will be a key contributor in the selection and implementation of new technologies and architectures and continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure.

• Install, configure, and maintain software, hardware, and network systems

• Administer IT infrastructure including network devices, servers, VMs, backup storage systems, EDR, domain controller, and MS 365 

• Setup, configure, validate, and administer special application software, like Atlassian Jira

• Monitor system performance and ensure the reliability and security of IT systems

• Troubleshooting issues and outages

• Support security operations and apply hardening policies

• Set up user accounts and access controls, manage onboarding/offboarding, and configure devices used by employees

• Oversee IT asset management and procurement of hardware and software

• Establish and document IT-related practices and processes

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent

• Excellent written and verbal Greek and English communication skills

• Proven work experience, at least 2 years, in IT operations positions

• Working experience in configuring and administrating MS 365, Active Directory, EDR solutions, and backup solutions

• Working experience in configuring and administrating IT applications such as Atlassian Jira

• Familiarity with the Linux operating system and troubleshooting

• Good understanding of networking technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing, Routing, and Firewalling

• Good understanding of cybersecurity issues and ability to implement security measures

Understanding of technical support practices such as ticket documentation, service level agreements, statistics and escalation processes
