Guest Relations Manager’s responsibilities include greeting guests as they arrive, coordinating their check-ins to assigned rooms and informing them about the hotel’s facilities. He/She will also make sure our guest relations staff, offer stellar guests service, and provide memorable hospitality experiences for our guests.

  • Provide upscale guest service experiences for guests throughout their stay.
  • Monitor daily bookings and ensure assigned rooms are prepared prior to check-in.
  • Conduct spot checks on VIP’s rooms.
  • Actively listen to and resolve complaints in a timely manner.
  • Ensure special guests, like disabled people, elderly, children and VIPs, receive personalized services.
  • Coordinate and manage communication between guests and staff and follow up to ensure we resolve guests concerns.
  • Inform guests of our hotel services, including breakfast and dining options.
  • Promote all hotel amenities, conveniences and programs offered.
  • Manage guest relations team to ensure we comply with all standards and operating procedures.
  • Appraise team’s performance and produce regular reports.
  • Examine daily duties, assign tasks and check on progress.
  • Analyze customer feedback from hotel guestbook and online reviews and suggest ways to improve ratings.
  • Trains new Guest services department personnel.
  • Answers guests’ inquiries regarding their stay.
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of the room rack locations types of rooms, room rack operations, package plans, hotel facilities.
  • Maintains a detailed knowledge about the hotel's services and hours of operations.
  • Display a pro-active and leading role in terms of service, culture, development, team image, systems, procedures and skill development.
  • Be flexible at all times in order to cover the unexpected needs of the Hotel and outlets.
  • Good understanding about the Property management software (PMS).
  • Anticipates and intervenes in all incidents of guest dissatisfaction and attempts to satisfy all such guests, within hotel policy.
  • Sets financial targets between the team & external partners, maximizing departmental revenue and monitors with constant processes that these targets are met & exceeded.
  • Cooperates with the Front of House Manager for the smooth operation of the Front Office Department.
  • Keeps Front of House Manager informed of all mishaps, unusual cases and guest feedback.

Απαραίτητα προσόντα

  • Bachelor's degree (National or International university/ AEI or TEI)
  • 3 years minimum experience on similar position
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure with provided resources.
  • Manage workload using own initiative and sufficiently cover a multitask position.
  • Excellent leadership skills

  • Third language will be considered a plus.
  • Exceptional communication (both verbal and written), negotiation and administrative skills
