The 1st ASREC Thematic Workshop will take place in Thessaloniki, Greece, on 15–16 December 2025, hosted at the historic War Museum of Thessaloniki. The workshop will bring together scholars working at the intersection of religion, culture, and economics, creating a focused environment for deep intellectual exchange. 

We are honored to feature Samuel Bazzi (UC San Diego) as our keynote speaker, alongside an exceptional group of presenters whose work spans identity, beliefs, long-run development, inequality, and social dynamics.
