ΚΥΡΙΕΣ ΑΡΜΟΔΙΟΤΗΤΕΣ
As IT Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Manage and maintain the hotel's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and communication systems
- Monitor and perform preventative maintenance on all IT systems to ensure optimal performance
- Provide timely and effective technical support to hotel staff and guests, resolving any IT-related issues promptly
- Liaise with and oversee external IT service providers, ensuring their services meet the hotel’s standards and requirements
- Implement and manage IT security protocols to protect the hotel's data and systems from cyber threats
- Install, configure, and maintain software applications, ensuring they meet operational needs
- Maintain and troubleshoot the hotel's wired and wireless networks, including structured cabling systems (UTP-FIBER)
- Perform regular system backups and ensure data recovery processes are in place and effective
- Advise management on potential IT upgrades or new technologies to improve operations and guest services
- Ensure all IT systems comply with standards, regulations, and company policies
- Train hotel staff on the use of IT systems and software, promoting best practices and efficient use of technology
ΠΡΟΣΟΝΤΑ
In order for your profile to match the IT Manager, you need to have the following skills:
- Proven experience in IT management, preferably within the hospitality industry
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of network administration, server management, and IT infrastructure
- Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting operating systems (e.g., Windows 10/11), Office 365, CCTV systems, Opera, PMS/Micros 9700 POS system and other hospitality management software
- In-depth understanding of IT security protocols and best practices
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Experience in managing relationships with external IT service providers and vendors
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff, management, and external partners effectively
- Ability to manage IT projects, including upgrades, installations, and system migrations
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA, Microsoft Certified) are a plus
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including being on-call for emergencies
