Profile: Junior Frontend Developer (React/TypeScript)

We are looking for a motivated Junior Frontend Developer with initial experience in React who wants to grow in our monorepo environment for the further development of the software. High willingness to learn and the ability to quickly familiarize oneself are essential.

Main Task:

•  Support in maintaining and further developing existing React applications.
•  Implement new features in our monorepo (consisting of interactive games and applications).
•  Query and integrate web APIs.

Required Core Competencies:

•  React (must-have): First practical experience with React and ability to create components.
•  TypeScript (must-have): Solid basic knowledge to write type-safe code.
•  Git: Good knowledge for versioning and collaboration.
•  Web API queries: Experience or clear understanding of querying web APIs (e.g., RESTful APIs) and handling data.
•  Build tools: First contact with Vite is desirable.
•  Monorepo basics: Interest in and first insights into working with monorepos (e.g., Turborepo, pnpm workspaces).
•  Styling: At least basic knowledge of Tailwind CSS, for implementing designs.

Important Frameworks/Libraries (willingness to learn):

•  UI components: Interest in libraries like Radix UI.
•  State management: First experiences with Zustand or similar are a plus.
•  Routing: First experiences with React Router.
•  Forms/validation: Basic knowledge of React Hook Form and Zod desirable.
•  Animation: Basic knowledge of Framer Motion is a plus.
•  i18n: Interest in i18next.

Other Skills:

•  Code quality: Awareness of clean code and willingness to use tools like ESLint, Prettier, or Biome.
•  CI/CD: Interest in CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions).
•  Problem-solving: Proactive approach and ability to learn.
