
We are thrilled to invite you to attend the unique Falling Walls Lab Greece innovation competition. Falling Walls Lab is a global platform for students and young professionals from all disciplines, who have the opportunity to present their innovative ideas in just three minutes.
The winner of the Greek Lab will qualify for the global final to be held in Berlin on November 7 and compete against finalists from around 100 countries.
The distinguished members of the jury play a decisive role in evaluating the pitches and selecting the winner.
The event will be addressed by, among others, the Deputy Minister of Education, Mr. Nikolaos Papaioannou, the Deputy Minister of Research and Innovation, Mr. Stavros Kalafatis, the Regional Governor of Western Greece, Mr. Nektarios Farmakis, the Secretary General for Research and Innovation Dr. Tasos Gaitanis, the Rector of the Hellenic Open University Mr. Manolis Koutouzis, and the German Embassy in Greece. Before the competition, a panel discussion will take place with participants including the President of the State Scholarships Foundation, Em. Prof. Vasso Kinti, the President of ESEK, Dr. Georgios Nounesis, and the President of the Patras Science Park, Prof. Vasileios Loukopoulos, coordinated by the former President of the Hellenic Open University and member of the Hellenic Open University Board of Directors, Prof. Ioannis Kalavrouziotis.
