MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company SA with headquarters in Geneva, the World Leading Shipping Line operating on container services, is looking to recruit suitable candidates for the Export Documentation Department in its office in Thessaloniki, Greece.
About the Role: The job purpose is to follow through export documentation mainly received directly by customers, ensuring smooth communication and cooperation with the Customers and other departments within the organization, prepare export documentation per vessel (cargo manifest, Bill of Loading , Loading confirmation and other relevant documents) in compliance with Customs and Port Regulations, resolve documentation issues, oversee department’s daily work and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Controls the daily export documentation work
- Creates & dispatches manifests, bill of lading, loading confirmation, DTX & cargo files
- Creates & dispatches Telex Release via platforms
- Creates & dispatches Manifest Correctors
- Prints & dispatches after vessel departures final Bills of Loading to the customers
- Provide Solutions to various doc queries and matters under responsibilities of Export Dept.
- Performs compliance checks for shipments destined to sanction countries
- In coordination with agency Accounting Dept. follows the release of Original B/L, TLX Release
- Prepares and dispatches Reefer Container Manifests
- Performs translation (EN->GR) of XML cargo file for dispatch to Port Authority
- Cross checking and verification of IMO cargo details with handed to the vessels manifest for hazardous cargo
- Assists to local booking parties smooth release of entrusted export cargo at destination
- Registration – process – update of the relevant Platform for new and existing customers
- Register, process, follow and report container seals applied to every export full container through a specific module
- Track, update, and report all seal activity data for all agencies/depots of MSC Greece through the internal platform and report to HQ
- Monitor, update, and report all information related to Customs inspections conducted at foreign ports to Thessaloniki Office and HQ via internal app
- Prepares manifests received from cross-booking agents in compliance with local Port Authority Regulations

Qualifications:
- Msc in Shipping or other relevant University
- Proficient computer skills , ability to learn and operate new office programs,
- Proficient in English language,
- Excellent soft skills to communicate effectively, customer service, interpersonal skills , multitasking, knowledge, understanding and respect of different trades/countries requirements and biz etiquettes;
- Willing to assist attitude, problem solving, observative, persistent, systematic , ability to manage work under pressure and tight deadlines, efficiency in prioritizing individual and teams tasks

• 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain
• 2+ years of Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and Storage experience
