ProGnosis Biotech, a dynamic and innovative biotechnology company, is seeking a highly analytical Marketing Strategy Analyst to join our expanding marketing team in Thessaloniki, Greece.
THE ROLE:
As a Marketing Strategy Analyst, you will bridge data-driven financial analysis with long-term marketing strategy, ensuring every marketing initiative aligns with profitability and business growth. This role is crucial in developing market-facing strategies backed by clear, measurable KPIs and business-centric logic. You will also craft strategic marketing plans for our subsidiaries, propose new market penetration activities based on data insights and perform detailed sales analysis per country, product category and SKU. Your ability to grasp and articulate the broader business impact of marketing within the company is essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing Strategy & Analysis:
- Formulate data-driven marketing strategies based on comprehensive data analysis and investment models.
- Establish and maintain marketing performance dashboards, analyzing campaign and channel data.
- Develop strategic marketing plans tailored to our subsidiaries' unique market dynamics.
Market Research &Segmentation:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, customer segments and competitive positioning for our product lines.
- Develop market models for estimating market size, growth rates and revenue potential.
- Support data-driven business cases for strategic initiatives or new product launches.
- Recommend market penetration strategies driven by analytical insights.
Budget & Profitability:
- Analyze and reconcile marketing budgets with performance outcomes.
- Continuously assess campaign profitability, forecasting financial impacts and ROI.
Sales Analysis & Reporting:
- Perform comprehensive sales analyses per country, product category and SKU.
- Regularly present detailed sales performance reports and actionable insights to stakeholders.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, and Finance to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
- Communicate strategic priorities clearly to stakeholders, ensuring synchronized efforts.
Continuous Improvement:
- Regularly report performance insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Stay updated on industry trends, proactively suggesting innovative marketing approaches.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing analytics, strategic marketing, or business analysis (experience within healthcare, biotech, or pharmaceuticals is a plus, but not required).
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical reasoning and business acumen.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel (and all of Microsoft Office) and similar visualization tools.
- Solid understanding of market segmentation, competitive analysis and marketing optimization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluency in English (Greek or additional languages a plus).
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with biotechnology or life sciences market dynamics.
- Experience in advanced marketing analytics (e.g., customer lifetime value, A/B testing).
- Innovative mindset with curiosity for continuous learning.
