HR Generalist
Job Description
• Managing people administration: Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and internal transitions to ensure smooth employee lifecycle management.
• Payroll and benefits: Execute monthly payroll in collaboration with external providers, and manage benefits administration, including pension plans, medical schemes, and meal vouchers.
• Absence and attendance management: Handle leaves, absences, attendance policies, and HR systems; advise employees on policy implementation.
• HR KPIs and reporting: Track and report on key HR metrics and provide tactical insights to support business decisions.
• Budget and expenses planning: Contribute to annual people and operational expenses budgeting and periodic financial forecasts.
• Recruitment support: Participate in the end-to-end recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate evaluation.
• Training and development: Conduct trainings, workshops, career development initiatives, organize learning events, and develop structured learning journeys.
• Performance management support: Assist with the annual performance cycle as a system power user, track progress, and provide user support on systems and processes.
• Employee engagement: Organize company events and activities, manage internal communications, and maintain engagement channels.
• HR projects: Lead or contribute to key HR projects and initiatives to drive organizational improvement.
Candidate Profile
• BSc in Business Administration, Economics, Human Resources or relevant field
• MSc in HRM considered an advantage
• 2–4 years of professional experience as a HR Generalist or in a relevant role
• Familiarity with HR operations and systems (HR administration, performance, timekeeping)
• Knowledge of Greek labor legislation and ERGANI
• Proficient in MS Office
• Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and oral
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to cooperate at all levels
• Strong analytical skills and numerical understanding
• Strong attention to detail
• Collaboration and teamwork
• Proactive and problem-solving skills
